Cicling escursion Versilia Tuscany

Starting from Forte dei Marmi you reach Marina di Pietrasanta from the Viale Morin and continue towards Viareggio along the coastal road as far as Lido di Camaiore (from Focette to Lido di Camaiore we advise you to follow the cycletrack). You take the Via Italica by turning to the left at the traffic lights and after the Via Aurelia crossroad continue along the Via Italica and the Via Provinciale towards Camaiore (8 Km) Approaching Camaiore it is advisable to keep the left side of the road to avoid the circular ring of the town.
The town of Camaiore of Roman origins (Campus Maior) boasts in its centre many historical buildings. Reached Piazza XXIX Maggio you continue through Via XX Settembre (last street to the right) from which you arrive in the centre of the town and Piazza S. Bernardino. In the square stands the "Chiesa di S. Maria Assunta - (XII-XIV cent.) facing the foun-tain, which in 1893 the Duke of Borbone gave to the town as a present. Not so far there are the "Palazzo del Vicario- (XII Cent.) the "Porta S. Pietro" and the Museo d'Arte Sacra- (Museum of Sacred Art). From Piazza Romboni skirting the Park you reach with a slight climb the Chiesa della Badia (VIII Cent.) a splendid ancient Benedictine Abbey. Back to Piaz-za Romboni you can continue in the direction of Lucca and after 3 Km. there is a bifurcation that brings you to the Pieve S. Giovanni e Stefano (XII Cent.). From here the road to Lucca skirts up the slopes of Monte Magno (6 Km of quite heavy climbs).
Af the top of the mountain, after approximately 1 Km, you arrive at the branch for Monte Pitoro and Massarosa. Follow-ing the road you reach Lucca (18 Km), while turning to the right with few other climbs you cross Monte Pitoro descen-ding through a small pass to Stiava (5 Km) or if you prefer to continue in the direction of Massarosa you reach Pieve a Elici (3 Km) with its Romanesque styled Chiesa di S. Pan-taleone (XI Cent.). To return you descend to Stiava or after Massarosa (3 Km) from the Via Sarzanese you take the road to Montramito (4 K

Trips to Tuscany & Versilia

A holiday should be high on the list of every culture vulture, food lover and those who consider La Dolce Vita as the way to go. Tuscan holidays should, however, also be very high on the list of walkers and trekkers. Walking holidays in Tuscany have a choice of the Apuane Alps, the Appenines and the rolling Tuscan foothills. We also walk the coastal paths of the Cinqueterre, but still have plenty of time to visit the sights of Florence, Pisa, Barga and Lucca.

The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. You're always assured a rare and beautiful space for an unforgettable event.
One of the most beautiful things about an Italian wedding is the ceremony itself. Most clients have a civil ceremony, which is far more beautiful than it sounds. The city hall of Florence is the 15th century Palazzo Vecchio, where weddings take place in the magnificent ?Red Room?, festooned with tapestries and noted paintings. The scene is much the same in every large city and small town where we work.

Religious weddings may take place in a number of beautiful, selected Catholic churches for couples who are both Christian and at least one of whom is Catholic. (As religious weddings are more complicated to arrange, please contact us well in advance.) Protestant and Jewish religious weddings are also available. These, however, have no legal standing in Italy; they are always accompanied by a civil wedding as well. Additionally, we can arrange religious blessing ceremonies outdoors or in other locations.

We advice you to make your reservations at least six months in advance so you are able to arrange your weddings. Choose a cottage for your romantic honeymoon contact the owners directly save money and find the best and charming accommodation in tuscany.
